llllllllllllllllllllll Runtime Error 70: Permission Denied
Usually caused by limited access to windows login
 
   

STEP 1:

If users with limited security rights will be using the application, a user with administrative rights on the network must give " full control " access to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ (RBAT, RCO, or RIT) registry node for the " users " group just after installation occurs on the workstation.  
STEP 2: Locate an IT person or obtain administrative user account. If not, see Step 7  
STEP 3: Navigate to Start > Run and in the Open box, type regedit (Windows XP, 2003 users) or regedt32 (Windows NT, 2000 users), and then click " OK  
STEP 4:

Locate the appropriate node, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ (RBAT, RCO, or RIT) and right click " Permissions " select the security tab > permissions menu in regedt32.

STEP 5: Select the " Users " group and check the " Allow " box for " Full Control " and click " OK ".  
 

REDBEAM SECURITY SETUP, Select the " Users " group and check the " Allow " box for " Full Control " and click " OK ".

 
STEP 6: Restart the application. If you receive the same message 70: Permission Denied see Step 7

The admin user that installs the application on the workstations will also need to register the application on the workstations before logging off. This must be done before limited access users attempt to use the workstation because they will not be able to update the registry with the activation key. The activation key resides in a different location then the regular registry information.
